My Second Pregnancy

Right now, I am 20 weeks pregnant (my second pregnancy). Actually, my OB advised me to have my bed rest so I temporarily closed my Invitation- making business. My case is placenta previa and I have the worst case wherein, my placenta is covering the opening of my cervix.

I woke up with a lot of blood and it's like I have my first day of period! I went to comfort room to check myself and it's so unbelievable that I have heavy bleeding. The first thing that came to my mind was, "what's this?", "am I just delayed for 2 months? no! I am not irregular!", and the last thing was "how about my baby??". I cried that time and call my Nanay and I showed her my stained underwear and even showed her the toilet bowl full of blood. Immediately, we call a tricycle service since it is impossible for me to drive our car. I actually don't know where to go because my OB's schedule to the Lying-in is in the afternoon. My Nanay told me to go to the nearest hospital - Kalayaan Hospital. Unfortunately, since the hospital is public, they don't have OB that time and they cannot do ultrasound. I know it's so annoying but there's nothing I can do so we asked them for suggestion on where to go. They suggest us to go to Divine Grace.

At the Divine Grace Hospital, I went to ER and an OB checked me and diagnosed me with "threatened abortion" . I cried when I heard my baby's heartbeat. They requested me to have my ultrasound and return to my own OB or to have follow up check on other OB in their hospital (Divine Grace). I took Duphaston and Duvadilan. I returned to the hospital for ultrasound in the afternoon.
My result was placenta previa and again had my bleeding because of the device used to me (trans-vaginal ultrasound device). Then before evening, I had my check up to one of the OB in the hospital. She's actually nice. She told me to have my bed rest and take 4 pieces of Duphaston in the evening aside from those that I had in the morning and afternoon.

My bleeding took 1 month. It was heavy on the first 3 days. The rest was just spotting but it is still so bothering.

I never had my follow up check to the nice OB of Divine Grace because I am loyal to my first OB.
Actually she was my OB on my first baby.
